As we approach a major milestone at FFT, we want to take a look back at how we began. Our first service was in 2010 and our first delivery using backpacks.
We will deliver our 500,000th backpack during our services the week of April 4th! This is over 5 million food items to the food insecure children we serve in Walton & Okaloosa Counties! Our eyes are set on the future and staying strong for another 500,000 bags! Please help us #StayStrong and continue to deliver on our mission to remove the negative impacts of hunger and empower children to get the most out of their education.
The Board & Committee members at FFT are matching the first $5000 raised!
We would not have reached this milestone without our dedicated volunteers!
Every week, generous members of our community show up and make our work possible.
We ALWAYS need volunteers and your support will help us #StayStrong for another 500,000 bags!
If you would like to volunteer, please email volunteer@fftfl.org.
5 Years in the Emeril Lagasse Full Circle Kitchen
Five years ago, we opened the Emeril Lagasse Full Circle Kitchen with a purpose of serving our students into their future. Students get the opportunity to learn from area Chefs. They cook together, eat together, clean up together and gain skills toward job placement.
8 Years in Santa Rosa Beach
After years of moving from borrowed space to borrowed space, 8 years ago FFT was able to secure our forever home. Our Santa Rosa office has been renovated multiple times to meet the needs of our programs. We are grateful everyday to have a secure place to run our programs.
