The Rotary Club of Mid-Bay Bridge held its 23rd annual charity golf tournament at the Bluewater Bay Golf Course June 3, raising more than $11,300. The tournament, which had 62 sponsors, was a Florida Scramble that included 23 teams/92 golfers from many Rotary clubs and local businesses and organizations. Prizes went to top scoring teams in three flights and Closest to the Pin. Dozens of players won smaller prizes. Proceeds will allow Mid-Bay Rotary to continue supporting local, regional, and international causes to include Rotary International PolioPlus and to ShelterBox USA. Mid-Bay Rotarian Art Jean led an amazing team coordinating golfers, sponsorships, prizes, food (sandwiches provided by Firehouse Subs and Wings and Beer provided by Brothers Kitchen).
