Northwest Florida Ballet 22/23 Season Begins Oct. 1

The Northwest Florida Ballet 53rd season kicks off with The Ugly Duckling, performed by Lightwire Theater, Saturday., Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Grand Park. This audience favorite brings a classic tale to the modern stage in an unforgettable theatrical experience. Lined with electroluminescent wire, the beloved story of The Ugly Duckling plays out on stage through a cutting-edge blend of puppetry, technology and dance. With dazzling visuals, poignant choreography and the creative use of music ranging from classical to pop, this free outdoor production brings this story into a new and brilliant light. Lightwire Theater has been featured as semi-finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and won Tru TV’s Fake Off.

Season subscriptions will be available beginning Tuesday, Aug. 30, and include tickets to The Nutcracker and Peter Pan for $76 per adult and $35 per child (12 and under), a savings of more than 15 percent compared to box office prices. Patrons are also eligible to purchase tickets to the VIP parties for $25 each and receive a 10 percent discount for additional performance tickets when buying a season subscription.
