Freeport High School Indoor Athletics Now Streaming Online
The Athletics Department at Freeport High School will now be streaming of all indoor athletics online including current boys’ and girls’ basketball games. Thanks to a generous grant from the St. Joe Foundation, Bulldog fans can now stream sports online through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network. Streaming of outdoor sports including football will be available beginning next year. If you would like your business advertised and featured on this online broadcast, please contact Freeport Athletic Director Shaun Arntz. Portions of all generated funds directly benefit school athletics. To access online streaming, visit www.nfhsnetwork.com and search Freeport High School to subscribe and watch your Freeport Bulldogs!
Chili Cook-off Raises $1,500 for Twin Cities Pavilion
Twin Cities Pavilion in Niceville has received a $1,551 donation to help pay for a new air conditioner. The funds were raised at a Chili Cook-off event sponsored by L.J. Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar at Bluewater Bay Marina Complex. Participants either competed or consumed chili during the November fundraiser, raising needed money for the assisted living facility located on John Sims Parkway in the heart of Niceville. Twin Cities Pavilion provides a safe living alternative for persons who are not secure living alone. The facility is committed by the Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners to provide affordable, supportive living for low and modest income elderly, disabled or recuperating persons.
