Twin Cities Hospital (TCH) recently broke ground for an expansion of its ER to allow for continued growth and larger capacity for quality care. The average annual ER volume growth of 6% from 2015-2017 has led to capacity constraints. In 2018, TCH treated 18,629 ER patients and 18,750 in 2019. In order to address capacity constraints and improve the layout of the ER, TCH personnel proposed an ER expansion and renovation, as well as the relocation of the CT adjacent to the ER. This much needed expansion will allow emergency personnel to better serve the residents in Niceville and the surrounding areas.
